You may have noticed the ever growing popularity of USB chargers in recent years. Since the world of technology first began exploding with new devices of every shape, size and function, chargers have went from being wildly customized and proprietary to becoming standardized by the Micro USB charging port.
In the wake of the USB charger, however, there is a new problem. While USB power may be the most reliable and versatile, USB cables, connectors, chargers and power are not all equal. Have you ever noticed that your smartphone charges faster when it’s connected to a wall port than when it is connected to your car USB charger? Or that some computer USB ports charge while the computer is in sleep mode, while others don’t?
